Letter from the Director:

Welcome to Jefferson County Council on Aging (JCCOA). Our mission has guided us in supporting and providing services to Jefferson County Older Adults. JCCOA is here to help older adults remain independent and to stay in their homes as long as possible. We are a non-profit agency dedicated to community outreach and committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in our community through social, health and wellness, education, nutrition, recreation and various other supporting programs.

We are grateful for the committed and generous members of our community who help make JCCOA a personal priority. I am proud of the accomplishments of our staff, participants, volunteers and Board of Directors. We will continue to stride forward and take on new innovative challenges to improve our agency in order to reach new Jefferson County Older Adults.

The best way to know if JCCOA is right for you or a family member is to visit our center and schedule an appointment with our outreach specialist to discuss resources you may qualify for, enjoy a hot meal and participate in a couple of recreation activities.

Those who participate and contribute to JCCOA take pride in knowing that they are building a legacy for future generations in Jefferson County. Thank you in advance for your support and desire to make a difference in the lives of your community neighbors.

With that said, I believe the best is yet to come. We look forward to your continued support and recommit ourselves to providing a better future for Older Adults in Jefferson County West Virginia.
