Join the Jefferson County Council on Aging and Jefferson Capital Tours as we tour around our nations capital, Washington DC. Leah with Jefferson Capital Tours, who is a licensed DC Tour guide will show us around and highlight Tour mobile of Arlington Cemetary, US Capital Building, Jefferson Memorial, Franklin Roosevelt Memorial, World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Viet-Nam Memorial, and Iwo Jima Memorial.
Lunch will have a $12.00 allotment at Union Station and the day will also include a picture stop at the White House.

Join the Jefferson County Council on Aging and Jefferson Capital Tours for a wonderful tour of the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Highlights of the trip include Dixie Stampede- a Western show spectacular and restaurant developed by country singer, Dolly Parton. Show will feature country and blueglass music, amazing horseback riding, and live animals. Dinner is included and is a true Southern feast.
Day two will include a drive through the Great Smokey Mountains as we make our way for shopping in Gatlinburg. Dollywood will be out last stop before resting up to head back home to the hills of West Virginia. This wonderful park features many shows, restaurants, arts and crafts as well as rides.

Coal Country Tours was established to offer travelers the chance to explore the fascinating and often misunderstood history and culture of the southern Appalachians. The West Virginia Mine War Tour traces the history and events associated with violent struggle for unionization of the West Virginia coal fields that took place from roughly 1900 to 1932. Highlights from the trip include Tamarack Cultural Center, Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine, Whipple Company Storre, Twin Falls Resorts State Park, Depot Museum and bue tour of Bramwell, WV.

SSMT’s production of Grease brings with it the newly-added, highly popular numbers from the film as well as old favorites such as “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” and “Greased Lightenin.”
