The Jefferson County Council on Aging had a rootin’, tootin’ good time on Friday, May 18, 2012 with the Western Day. The participants were able to participate in crafts, coloring projects, line dancing class, bubbles, and cornhole. Check out the Photos page for pictures of this event. Zumba:

Ditch the workout and join the party here at JCCOA!! Kesha Glenn will provide a low-impact Zumba class here at the center on Monday’s at 10:30am for FREE to those 60 years and up and then she is back on Wednesday’s at 6:30pm for a medium impact class for a $3.00 fee for those 12yrs and up!

Bingo:

Always a popular activity here at the center. Join us on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 for our Snack Food Bingo, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 for our Drink(Non-Alcoholic) Bingo, and again on Thursday, May 24, 2012. You will recieve an extra card to play on Tuesday and Wednesday if you bring in an item. An extra may be purchased for $.50 if you don’t have any of the listed items! Bingo starts at 10:30am on Tuesday and Wednesday and at 1:00pm on Thursday.

Zett’s Fish Hatchery Trip:

Join us for our trip to Zett’s Fish Hatchery on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 9am-1pm. Cost is $7.00 per person which will include all fishing supplies (unless you want to bring your own), a bag lunch and transportation to and from. Please let Chasidy know if you would like to attend because space is limited!

Join us on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00am as we welcome Harpers Ferry Middle School Choir for their Spring Concert.
