The Jefferson County Council on Aging Recreation Department coordinates monthly activities which provide cognitive, physical, education, and social interaction for those 60 years of age and up.
The monthly activities consist of, but are not limited to Active for Life Exercise Program, Yoga, Bingo, Crafts, Art Class, Poker, Wii Bowling, Billiards, Monthly Birthday Celebration, Dances, Educational Programs, Movies, Bus Trips, Special Holiday Activities, and much more!!!

JCCOA offers the following evidence based programs:
– Walk with Ease
– Chronic Disease Self-Management Program
– Tai Chi for Arthritis
