Adult Day Care/ Congregate Respite Program

The Jefferson County Council on Aging offers an Adult Day Care/Respite Program Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Adult Day Care program: a community based program to provide social and recreational activities in a supervised, protective setting.

Congregate Respite program: provides an unpaid caregiver up to 16 hours per week of service. Individuals must be an at risk, frail individual at least sixty (60) years of age or an individual, of any age, with a written diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or related dementia.

Each program provides individuals with personal care, ambulation assistance, activities and food prep in a secured, loving setting.
