Finance Officer– This position is responsible for the accounting of all financial transactions conducted on behalf of the agency. This includes but is not limited to A/P, A/R, Service Invoicing, Grants, Payroll, Asset Inventory, Depreciation schedules and Financial Reports. All applicants MUST have a thorough knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and experience with end of year closing procedures.

JCCOA is accepting applications for the following part-time positions:

 In-Home Care Aides- In-Home Care Aides assist individuals to remain in their homes and maintain their independence for as long as possible. You must have a big heart and bright outlook. Sometimes you will be their only ray of sunshine. You can make someone’s life better and get paid while doing so! Care consists of personal care, some light housework, meal preparation among other things. All training provided on site, no experience needed.   We will train the right person!  Day, evening and weekend hours available.

 

Substitute Day Habilitation Aides-

Jefferson County Council on Aging Jefferson Center is here to offer exceptional care to those who are intellectually and developmentally disabled to enhance their quality of life. The JCCOA Jefferson Center provides a very active training schedule each day to our 24 consumers at a 1:1-1:6 ratios from 9am-3pm Monday – Friday. Individuals are learning functional academics, health and safety skills, communication and social skill, and job readiness skills. Individuals are also learning how to access community resources by going to the local library, fishing at Zetts, participating in dances at the JCCOA Senior Center, and buying lunches out on occasion. We are looking for individuals that strive to teach independence as well as have a high level of patience. All training will be provided free of charge and must pass background check.
