All services provided at the Senior Center are designed to help older adults remain independent and to stay in their homes as long as possible. The Jefferson County Council on Aging is funded by the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, Upper Potomac Area on Aging, and private donations.

The senior center provides services to persons 60 year of age or older, irrespective of sex, race, creed, color, national origin, political affiliation, or belief or handicap.
